For over a decade Debbie has led the Product department at Finisterre & has led ambitious initiatives to reduce the brand’s impact, and re-imagine a positive way to do business; targeting circular product, zero waste & ocean health.
“I started out in fashion and quickly learned it was not for me. I then somehow joined a circus in Brazil, then onto Peru where I met the love of my life. When we got hitched and came home, I caught up with an old friend who was the original designer at Finisterre, and ended up joining for the journey! I am now a warehouse manager, and love where I live & what I do. Respect for the ocean as our playground, livelihood and source of inspiration. We bring our 2 girls up to love and respect it too, learning to surf, organising beach cleans and generally forming an unbreakable bond with the ocean.”
